Husky

This tour takes you to a small, family-run husky kennel in Swedish Lapland. Before our adventure begins, we’ll provide you with thorough driving instructions. Once everyone is prepared, we set off into the wilderness and explore more of the Torne Valley’s nature and magical winter landscape on this tour. Halfway through, we stop for driver changes and to capture all the impressions in photos. After the ride you will have the opportunity to greet the huskies, that are eagerly waiting for hugs and cuddles. We warm up around the fire while drinking hot forest berry juice, and you will be served lunch – a classic sausage barbecue, served with a traditional Lapland inspired sandwich. During the lunch you will learn more about sled dogs. Your guide also tells you about dog sledding competitions, local history, and life in Lapland with pack of huskies.

Adults (18 years and older) are allowed to drive the dog sled. This safari is available only with shared husky sledges. If multiple parties have an odd number of participants on the husky safari, solo participants share a husky sleigh with each other. Driver can be changed in the midway of the safari.
Age limit on this safari is 13 years. No child discounts.
