The Swiss Tour Operator Kontiki Reisen has a long partnership with Destination Lapland and every winter very satisfied clients staying at the cabins in Äkäslompolo. Beside the own charter flight from Zurich to Kittilä from December until March every Saturday, Kontiki has its own reps who assist the clients if there are any problems or if they’d like to book any excursions during their stay. We are Claudia, Anja and Isa. We are pleased to work as Kontiki reps in Äkäslompolo and enjoy the Finnish way of life in Lapland.

Anja not only appreciates the silence in the Finnish forests but the Finnish lifestyle in general. Spending much time outdoors as a Snow Village guide two years ago, she’s not afraid of holding out in the cold to chase the Northern Lights.

Claudia is representing the Rhaeto roman speaking minority of Switzerland, originating from the Grisons mountain area in the south east of the country. She is fascinated by Scandinavian design and enjoys exploring the countryside by cross country skis.

Isa is a multilingual talent and has a passion for the outdoors as qualified outdoor guide. She has spent some summers as tourist guide in Lapland and also, in the same year as Anja, a winter as Safari guide in the Äkäslompolo area.
