Destination Lapland | Rental instructions
Destination Lapland is an adventure house in the Ylläs area, which offers not only high quality accommodation but also a variety of excellent activities. Coming here is like coming to another home. All’s well when the cabin’s well.
1. The cabins are available from 18.00 h on arrival day until 10.00 on departure day.
If you know that you arrive after 18:00, please inform us via e-mail (email@example.com) at the latest by the previous day of your arrival. This helps us to organise cabin cleaning and maintenance smoothly.
2. The cabins are based on a self-sufficiency principle; the guests bring their own bed linen, needed toilet- and kitchen paper and detergent.
Bed linen may be ordered from our office at an extra charge of 20 € / set.
In some cases bed linen are included in the cabin price. Please check from your final invoice if they are included.
3. The keys to the cabins are to be picked up at the Destination Lapland office.
With accepting the keys, the guest commits to the general terms of reservation and received customer instructions.
If you arrive outside our office hours, you will find the keys from a post box next to our office main door.
The keys shall be returned to the Destination Lapland office on the day of departure.

4. Passenger card
Please fill in the passenger card sent to you in advance by e-mail and return it to our office upon arrival. The passenger card may also be sent back to our office through e-mail prior to your arrival.
5. When arriving to the cabin, please check that everything is in order, and if there is any noticeable damage please inform the office immediately.
Complaints about the cabin’s condition, which are made later on, we unfortunately may not approve.
6. Pets are allowed only in cabins where it is specifically mentioned in the cabin description.
We will charge an extra 52 € for the additional cleaning.
7. Firewood and the final cleaning are included in the price.
Please make sure that the bed linen ordered from our office are collected in one spot, the garbage is brought out, dishes are cleaned and the fridge is empty.
8. When leaving, please check that you have all your belongings with you.
For sending lost and found items we charge 35 € + postal fees.
For your information, we are acting responsibly to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. We take care of good hand hygiene and try to minimise personal contacts at our office. We wish you do the same – During your stay we are here for you and you may contact us by phone and through e-mail, visits to the office are restricted to picking up keys on the day of arrival. We kindly ask you to have only one person of your group enter the office to pick up the key. At a service encounter inside, you are required to use a face mask and we ask you to keep an appropriate distance between yourself and our staff. If need be, please wait for your turn outside.
During customer service interactions our staff will also be wearing face masks and in general maintains a minimum of 2 m distance to our customers. We recommend to book and pay any services in advance, if this is not possible, we kindly ask you to pay by card instead of cash.
Cabin keys will be prepacked in envelopes. The envelopes are laid out in alphabetical order on a separate table in our reception area. For those arriving outside of office hours, the keys will be placed in labelled envelopes in the red post box outside our office entrance.
If you have any flu symptoms, we kindly ask you to avoid coming to the office. Also our staff is instructed to stay at home if they show any flu like symptoms.
We have intensified the cleaning at our office and hand sanitizer is available at the service desk.
For effective cleaning of the cabins we use the instructions given by the Finnish Institute of Health and Welfare (THL). In-between cleanings for longer stays are not carried out at all, the resources will be used for an even more thorough final cleaning. Possible maintenance work will be carried out when the cabin is empty and no guests are present.
If you fall ill during your vacation and the symptoms give reason to suspect Covid-19 infection, please proceed according to following instructions:

On the phone you will receive instructions on how to take a test. The results will be ready within 2-3 days. Even if the corona test results are negative, it is recommended to stay in the cabin until the symptoms are resolved.
Please inform our office about possible interruption of your holiday or if you suspect Covid-19 infection.
